A second man has been arrested in connection with a shooting in Limerick yesterday evening.
A man in his 20s was arrested last night following a shooting incident in Limerick. It happened at around 7.40pm when shots were fired at a house on New Road at Thomond Gate.
Three people, including a 22 year-old woman and two male teenagers, were in the house at the time, but no one was injured.
Gardai say a motorcycle was seen leaving the area. The man in question was arrested close to the scene.
He was taken to Mayorstone Garda station where he is being held under section 30 of the offences Against the State Act.
