A man (43) has been charged over a post office robbery in north Dublin yesterday.

The incident happened at around 12:50pm, when a number of men entered the post office at Baldoyle and threatened staff.

At least one of the men had a firearm.

They left the premises without any money and got into a waiting car.

No one was injured and no shots were fired.

The man is due to appear before the Dublin District Court tomorrow morning.
