Roman Catholic Bishops will meet this morning to discuss the outcome of the same-sex marriage referendum.
The Standing Committee of the Council of Bishops is set to reflect on the comments of Archbishop Diarmuid Martin that the vote serves as a reality check for the church here.
They will also discuss the number of clerics who publicly stated they would vote Yes.
Meanwhile, the Union of Students Ireland (USI) will join the BelongTo group, to discuss the strength of the youth vote.
USI president, Laura Harmon, says there were large majorities in favour of same-sex marriage in areas around college campuses.
Irish broadcasters need to reflect on how they implement rules around balance and fairness in debates.
That is according to the Irish Secretary of the National Union of Journalists (NUJ), Seamus Dooley.
Mr Dooley's comments come in the wake of the marriage referendum - in which he says factual inaccuracies were let go in some debates for fear of giving one side more air time than another.
He says the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland needs to look at how its rules are being implemented by media outlets.
