15 year old Abigail Hernandez has been reunited with her family after she went missing over 9 months ago.

Abigail, who was 14 at the time of her disappearance, was last seen leaving her high school in New Hampshire in October of last year.

The circumstances surrounding her disappearance are still being investigated by authorities. 

Abigail was walking home from school when she disappeared. It was believed that the last her family had heard from her were text messages she sent the day she disappeared, October 9, 2013.

Abigail had allegedly written a letter to her mother while she was still missing, but this has not been confirmed. 

Zenya Hernandez, Abigail’s mother, said 'we are the happiest people on earth', according to a press release from the New Hampshire Attorney General's Office.
