15-year-old Sait Canbulla has been located safe and well in Ballymote, Co Sligo this afternoon.

A Child Rescue Ireland Alert was issued following the teenager's disappearance in Wexford yesterday afternoon.

It is now believed Sait got into a dark coloured saloon car of his own accord. It was initially feared he had been abducted, but gardaí said earlier today they were satisfied that was not the case.

Gardaí are thanking the media and members of the public for their assistance in this matter.
