Norwich chief executive David McNally has denied reports that Wes Hoolahan has handed in a transfer request.
The Irish international was rumoured to have asked manager Chris Hughton to be allowed to leave Carrow Road amid reports of interest from Aston Villa.
The Ireland international has been getting less game-time this season, prompting speculation about his future.
But McNally has moved to quash talk that the 31-year-old, or any other players, will leave during the January window.
“As we've always said, no players will be sold against our will. We've received no transfer requests this season and have no intention of releasing any of our senior players," he said.
