The plaque honouring Jonathan Corrie, the homeless man who died just metres from Leinster House in December, has been removed.
Corrie died from hypothermia on December 1st of last year, with the event igniting a public debate on the problem of homelessness in Ireland and Dublin in particular. Following Corrie’s death a plaque was erected on the door of a building on Molesworth Street.
TheJournal.ie reports today that the plaque has now been removed and Corrie's children are "pretty upset" by the removal.
