Voting has ended this evening in the two referendums and the Dáil by-election.
Polling stations are indicating that this could be highest number of votes cast in Irish referendum history. There are reports that turnout could reach as high as 75%.
There are no exit polls so tomorrow morning will be the earliest we have any indication of how the vote went.

- Souty Central 44%
- South East 40%
- Clare 46%
- Limerick 60%
- Kilkenny 49%
- Kerry 50%
Turnout in Cork city is averaging at 45%.
Turnout in Kerry is estimated at 50%.
In the Kilkenny/Carlow by-election there has been a higher than average turnout with most polling stations reporting a turnout of 40-50% at roughly 8pm.
