Real Madrid go into this weekend's Madrid derby with a three point lead at the top of La Liga and having flexed their muscles against Schalke last night.
In imperious form recently and with a place in the Copa del Rey final and the Champions League quarter-finals wrapped up, our European football correspondent thinks Carlo Ancelotti's side could go on to achieve great things by season's end.
"At the moment, Real Madrid have become candidates for the treble. There's three sides left in Europe who can win the treble: Barcelona, Bayern Munich and Real Madrid," said Graham.
Real seem to have found cohesion with a 4-3-3 featuring the in-form Luka Modric, Xabi Alonso and Angel Di Maria in midfield. It looks attacking but is also very solid according to Graham because it "gives equilibrium in midfield."
Graham expects Real to go for the jugular against Atletico Madrid, who they recently beat 5 - 0 on aggregate in a bad-tempered Copa del Rey semi-final. He anticipates that it will be equally feisty this time round.
