One month on from the devastating earthquake shook Nepal and over a week since the second tremor hit, the Red Cross is renewing its appeal for donations.
The humanitarian agency is warning that as monsoon season approaches, tens of thousands of people will be left with little or no protection.
The number of people killed in the region has surpassed 8,500, making the disaster the country’s deadliest on record.
More than 225,000 people are currently sheltering under tents and tarpaulins and The Red Cross is urging people to support the shelter needs of survivors.
Donations can be made online on the Red Cross website.
