Renault has recalled more than 27,000 cars in Ireland and the UK because of a brake issue on its Captur model.
Owners have been told to get them checked, after the manufacturer discovered wheel arch liners were rubbing against the brake hose.
The company says it is not an emergency and drivers will see a warning light on the dashboard if there is a problem.
