Manchester United have confirmed that Ryan Giggs will take over as caretaker manager until a permanent replacement for David Moyes is found.

The team confirmed this morning that Scottish manager Moyes would be leaving after only 9 months with the club.

Ryan Giggs has been serving as player-coach for the team since Moyes's appointment in July 2013. The 40-year-old Giggs has been playing for Manchester United's senior team since 1990
