Ryanair's traffic was up by 29 percent in February, when compared with 12 months earlier - the Irish airline carried 5.8m passengers during the month. Its load factor was up by 11 percent - at 89 percent for the month.
The company has also announced that it will buy three more Boeing 737-800 planes - they are valued at $280m (€252m) and will be delivered next year.
That brings its total order to 183 737 NGs, in addition to orders for 200 Boeing MAX 200 aircraft.
Ryanair hopes that expansion of its fleet will allow the airline to grow its traffic to 160 million customers per year by 2024.
The airline has also introduced a number of initiatives to improve customer's experience - including a reduction in airport check-in fees from €70 to €40.
Customers will be able to cancel flights at the cost of €15 per segment within 24 hours of booking from May of this year.
It will also introduce a ‘Hold a Fare’ feature that will allow customers to hold fares at a certain price for 24 hours for a fee of €5 from June.
The company has also announced that it will redesign the interiors of its aircrafts - and introduce new employee uniforms.
