Ireland coach Joe Schmidt has named four uncapped players in his squad for the summer tour to Argentina.

Ulster back row Robbie Diack is joined by his provincial team-mate, hooker Rob Herring.

Welsh-born Connacht scrum-half Kieran Marmion also gets the nod, as does Munster prop James Cronin.

Dave Kearney misses out after picking up a knee injury in Leinster's Rabo Pro 12 semi final win over Ulster on Saturday.

Sean O'Brien and Cian Healy are rested, while Ian Madigan and Sean Cronin are the surprise exclusions.

Ireland will play two tests against Pumas, in Resistancia on June 7th and in Tucuman on June 14th.
