On this day in 1975, baby Patrick Loueiro was born just three hours after his flight from Beira, Mozambique to Lisbon took off.
He became the first infant to ever be born on board an Aer Lingus flight. Air Hostess and trained nurse Jackie Ryan assisted in the birth.
39 years later and Aer Lingus are looking to find baby Patrick. Aer Lingus tweeted a picture of the newborn and his parents looking for some help from the internet.

The plane carrying 393 passsengers and crew greeted the baby boy somewhere over Zambia.
It was rumoured that baby Patrick was gifted with free flights for life and was even christened after the Boeing 747 which was called Patrick.
