Secondary teachers across Ireland are to vote on whether to accept new proposals for reform of the Junior Cert.
The central executive of the ASTI has decided to ballot its 18,000 members on the issue.
It's after the TUI said yesterday that it would recommend its membership accept the reforms.

If follows a series of one day work stoppages at schools around the country in the last academic year.
Assistant General Secretary of the ASTI Moira Leydon says their vote will have no recommendation:
