Hill Street charts the rise of skateboarding culture in Ireland will being on selected release on Friday, May 23rd and available online and DVD in June.

It all began with Clive Rowen, the proprietor of a skate shop in the north inner city called Clive’s of Hill Street, who single-handedly progressed the skate scene from primitive ramps at the shop to a temporary skate park in the Top Hat Ballroom in Dún Laoghaire.

The big feature interview of the documentary is Tony Hawk who came to Dublin in the 90's with his skate crew.

Producer of the documentary Dave Leahy joined Sean in studio to talk about Ireland's history of skate boarding. We also sent Henry McKean, Moncrieff's Senior 35-Year-Old Grown Man Skate Boarding For the First Time Correspondent to learn the ropes in Bushy Park, Dublin.
