The Taoiseach has been heckled by a homeless man while doing a media opportunity in Dublin.

Enda Kenny later spoke to the man and promised to check out the situation.

As Mr. Kenny was talking to reporters on St. Stephen's Green in Dublin, the man shouted "What are you going to do for the homeless?"

The man, who later told An Taoiseach that his name was Noel Gahan, also said "walk in our shoes".

After Mr Kenny had completed taking questions from the media, he then spoke to the man - who told him he was now homeless because he could no longer afford to stay in his bedsit because the rent went up but his rent allowance did not.

Note: This video has been edited to remove the man's previous address
