Former Manchester City striker Carlos Tevez has already finalized his plans for this summer - and it doesn't involve the World Cup.

The Argentine has been frozen out of the international scene by manager Alejandro Sabella since his poor performance and perceived attitude at the 2011 Copa America.

As Tim Vickery recently explained on Off The Ball, Tevez' relationship with Argentina's main man Lionel Messi seems to be one of the reasons.

Although this week Tevez insisted that he has a good relationship with Messi, rumours of bad blood between the pair persist.

With that in mind, Tevez has made it clear that he is not expecting to join the Albiceleste in Brazil:

"I don't think I will be with my national team at the World Cup, I've already bought tickets to go with my wife and my three children to Disney World. They deserve this trip and I have been very clear in my mind where my place is. Things are as they are and that’s that."

However, he remains a popular figure in his native Argentina despite his underwhelming form for his country.

Argentina's long-term FA President Julio Grondona has emphasized that Tevez' exile is purely a decision made by the manager as he relinquishes responsibility for the decision.

Even without Tevez, Argentina have a plethora of attacking talent to choose from including Messi, Sergio Aguero, Gonzalo Higuain, Ezequiel Lavezzi, Rodrigo Palacio and Mauro Icardi.
