The Law Reform Commission's urging people to take part in a new survey and to give their views regarding Cyber-crime and bullying.
The commission has today published an Issues Paper on Cyber-crime affecting personal safety, privacy and reputation, including Cyber-bullying.
The project, which identifies five key issues, is part of the Commission's fourth programme of Law Reform.
Some of the questions will see people asked to give their views on whether the offence of harassment should include a specific reference to cyber-harassment, if the current law adequately addresses online hate crime and if the penalties for offences for cyber-harassment and related behaviour are appropriate.
Finola Flanagan, from the Law Reform Commission, explains what the review is about.
