The contribution that Polish people make to the Irish economy is being recognised this week.

The first 'Polska Eire' festival is taking place from today until next Sunday.

Events around Polish culture, film and food are taking place around the country.

The programme will close with the meeting of Ireland and Poland at the Aviva Stadium in the qualifying round for Euro 2016.
