Ticketmaster has refunded nearly 255,000 Garth Brooks ticket holders. The company has processed a further 55,000 tickets today - which was in addition to the 199,000 processed last week.

Some 400,000 tickets were sold for the now-cancelled shows.

Ticketmaster has also received the first "significant volume" of postal refunds for tickets sold through ticket centres.

It says these applications are being processed immediately on receipt. But adds that they have noticed a number of forms with incomplete bank details "which slows the process".

Ticketmaster is urging customers to provide them with their complete bank details to deal with their refund as quickly as possible.
