Two men have been arrested after drugs, cars and a firearm were seized in south Dublin yesterday.

Cannabis herb and cocaine worth around €28,000 were recovered at the Cookstown Industrial Estate in Tallaght following an intelligence-led operation.

Officers also found four cars believed to be stolen along with a firearm.

Two men, aged 29 and 39, were arrested and taken to Tallaght garda station.

They have since been release without charge and files are being prepared for the Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP).
