A balcony in the Knightsbridge area of London has collapsed, killing two people and injuring six others.
The collapse happened in Cadogan Square, one of the wealthiest parts of the capital.
It was first reported that one of the eight injured had died, but the Metropolitan Police have now confirmed a second death.
Emergency services, including three ambulances and an air ambulance, arrived on the scene shortly before 10am.
Greg Hands is the MP for Chelsea and Fulham. He said he had been told those who died were removal men, as were those who were injured.
Mr Hands tweeted: "Balcony collapse in Cadogan Sq. Just spoke with Cadogan Ests (Cadogan Estates, property company), not their property, but believe balcony broke when the removal men were moving a sofa out and the combined weight might have broken it."
"Casualties were removal staff. My thoughts are with their families."
A London Ambulance Service spokesman said: "We sent three ambulance crews, an advanced paramedic, the hazardous response team and a London air ambulance."
"We treated eight people. Every effort was made to resuscitate a patient. Sadly a man died at the scene."
"Six patients were treated for minor injuries but did not go to hospital."
