Holland manager Louis Van Gaal has confirmed that he wants to move to the Premier league.
The former Barcelona and Bayern Munich boss has been quoted as saying: "My ambition is to coach a top team in the Premier League. I want to win the league title in a fourth country. That's my objective and I want to fulfil it. Either that, or I will retire and move with my wife to Portugal."
The Dutch coach has been linked with Manchester United in the last few days following reports that David Moyes was on the brink of losing his job, while many expect him to replace Tim Sherwood at Tottenham Hotspur.
Van Gaal will lead the Dutch national team at this summer's World Cup but will step down after the tournament.
Highly-decorated, he has won seven league titles with Ajax, Barcelona, Bayern Munich and AZ.
The 62-year-old has also enjoyed success in the Champions League, leading Ajax to the title in 1995 and reaching the final with Bayern in 2010.
