British actress Romola Garai divulged more information than people were expecting during her BAFTA speech.
The Atonement star went into graphic detail about the birth of her child earlier this year, as she prepared to hand over the award for the Best Male Performance in a Comedy Programme.
The 30-year-old told a star-studded audience, "After the recent birth of my child, I had the misfortune of having 23 stitches in my vagina. So I didn't think I'd be laughing at anything for a long time - but tonight's nominees have proved me wrong."
Alan Partridge star Steve Coogan won that particular award, but even he would not have been able to top Garai's speech.
