Arsenal have confirmed that Arsene Wenger will be staying at the club beyond the end of the season.
Gunners chief executive Ivan Gazidis has confirmed that the veteran Frenchman will be extending his current contract with the club, although he has not revealed how long the new deal will last.
He said: "Arsene will be extending with us and at the right time we will make that announcement."
Wenger has been in charge of the London club since 1996 and news of the new deal comes on the same day as reports that Arsenal have also secured the biggest kit deal in English football with Puma.
The new five-year agreement, which is understood to be worth over £30 million (€36 million) per year, will not begin until the end of this season.
