A Wexford man accused of murdering a father of three outside his home on Christmas Eve has been granted bail by the High Court.

John Lawlor (48) was stabbed to death at Red Row in the townland of Ballinatray Lower at Courtown Harbour after enjoying some festive drinks in a local pub.

David Shanley of Courtown Harbour in Gorey was charged with his murder and he was granted bail subject to certain strict conditions.

His parents also agreed to pay €5,000 if he fails to appear at future court appearances.
