Earlier this week, Colin Udoh of ESPN, The Telegraph and The Blizzard fame joined us to discuss the Super Eagles’ chances of causing an upset in Brazil.

Udoh explains that the notorious high-expectations of the Nigerian faithful are tempered this year, however they believe anything short of qualification from the Group State would be a defeat.

Coach Stephen Keshi, who led the side to African Cup of Nations success last year, has split the football-mad nation over his team selection. Every position on his roster has been dissected by observers at home and across West Africa, opening Keshi to the criticism that he’s left his star players at home.

Chelsea holding midfielder John Obi Mikel is derided as something of a bruiser in the Premier League. However, that wasn’t always the case. The player who initially caught Chelsea’s (well, Peter Kenyon’s) eye was a gifted passer and a tactical brain. Colin Udoh says Mikel may show some of those talents on the world stage this summer in a more "free" role under Keshi.

Colin also offers his thoughts on young up-and-coming talents from Nigeria, which has long been a hotbed of talent for Europe’s top clubs; and tips a couple of talents worth putting into your Fantasy Football lineups this summer!
