Germany and Argentina were the two teams to make the cut this year and successfully move through to the World Cup Final.

As final bets are placed and viewing plans are made, fans are pulling out all the stops to show their support for their team.

An avid soccer fan himself, Rob the Ferrel, also known as Rob the Original, claims World Cup fever has struck his clients and has been carving portraits of Argentinian football star Lionel Messi constantly ahead of the World Cup Final.

Rob the Original is a world famous American barber who specialises in photo realistic portraits shaved into the back of his clients heads. "It's like trying to draw on a baseball," the San Antonio hair portraitist said.

Ferrel uses various clippers, trimmers and small blades to cut out the designs in the hair before dying them with eyeliner.
