Bosses don’t formalise use of networking sites

Most employers don’t have a formal policy on using social networking sites at work.

According to a study, those that did monitor the use of twitter and facebook believed it helped avoid a loss of productivity.

They also found that when monitored correctly, social networking sites actually improved employee collaboration and morale.
