Civil Partnership Bill to be debated in Dail

Fewer rights and not fair.

That’s the message to the Taoiseach this morning from groups calling for equal marriage rights for same-sex couples.

‘Marriage Equality’ has written to Brian Cowen asking him to change the proposed civil partnership bill which is being debated in the Dáil tonight.

It says the majority of Irish people support equal marriage rights.
