The newspaper says the new chief of Irish Nationwide says practices at the bank under Michael Fingleton were outrageous. INBS yesterday reported losses in 2009 of €2.5bn, more than all its profits combined over its 137-year history.

The Irish Times leads with “Fingleton’s successor says events at INBS an outrage”

The newspaper says Irish Nationwide yesterday posted a €2.5bn loss after sloppy practices and high-risk lending to property speculators.

The Irish Examiner has the headline “Irish airports prepare for take-off”

The paper says limited flights are resuming from Ireland but experts are warning of a new ash cloud.

The Mirror has the headline “Air We Go” on its front page

The paper says Ireland’s skies will reopen today, easing the misery of plane passengers.

The Star also has the headline “Air We Go”

The newspaper reports that the first flights in five days are likely to take off from Dublin Airport today, this now looks unlikely following changing weather patterns.

The Sun leads with “T.F.I. Flyday”

The paper says grounded planes are set to take off again today.

The Irish Daily Mail leads with “Pregnant Mother Of Two Killed By Cocaine”

The top story says 200an eight month pregnant 32-year-old woman died after taking cocaine mixed with a heart drug, her unborn son also died.
