Two die from C Difficile after contracting it at Co. Louth hospital

Two people who contracted C Difficile at a Co. Louth hospital have died.

Three wards have been shut at Our Lady of Lourdes Hospital in Drogheda, following the outbreak of the contagious infection.

Ten patients have already tested positive for the bug another eleven are showing symptoms.
