Pedestrian killed in Limerick

A man in his 50’s has been knocked down and killed in County Limerick.

It happened on the Limerick to Tralee Road at Sweeps Cross near Newcastle West at around half past 7 yesterday evening.

It’s understood he was knocked down by a car as he was picking up debris on the road from an earlier minor crash.
