United face Bayern, Arsenal take on Barcelona

The draw for the quarter finals of the Champions League has pitted the holders Barcelona against Arsenal.

In a repeat of the 2006 final, Gunners skipper Cesc Fabregas will return to the club at which he served his apprenticeship, while Thierry Henry takes on his former club for the first since leaving the Emirates Stadium in 2007.

The winners of that tie will face either Inter Milan or CSKA Moscow.

Manchester United will take on Bayern Munich in the last 8, as they look to reach the semi finals for the 4th year in a row.

The victors will then be paired with the winners of the all french tie of Lyon and Bordeaux.

The first legs will be played in two weeks time, on the 30th and 31st of March.

In the Europa League quarter finals Liverpool face the Portugese outfit Benfica, while Fulham’s reward for their heroics against Juventus is a tie with Bundisliga side Wolfsburg.
