Seems the Vuvuzela is certainly here to stay in Ireland despite the GAA ban. http://www.vuvuzela.ie More and more of these are going to be in Ireland it would seem.

Just listened to the podcast. Michael D. was magnificent. Glad to see someone challenge (and, I think any unbiased listener will have to agree, bury) that eejit Mike Graham whose ignorant bile George seems happy to indulge week after week.

enjoyed Gaybo's interview. I went to CBS in Donore Avenue (where Gaybo also went - 25 years earlier, along with other luminaries like, newsreaders Cockbourn & Charles Mitchell). We too had elocution lessons with (what I assume was the same) Ms. Burke. It was, of course, incredibly farsighted of the Brothers ( I was part of a group that won some competition in the Fr. Matheew Hall in the 60s). She was a lovely lady who understood kids and had an avant-garde element to her (not that we knew what 'ag' meant). Be very interesting to see if any of your other listeners have memories of her. Enjoy your show (via podcast) in Rome.

Fair play to Michael Graham for the way he handled the, ahem, situation. He was great at McDaids in Dublin on Sunday. It was a good open discussion in a full room. As a result of what he had to say, we've started this Facebook page, please support it if you're a fan of Michael Graham and what he has to say: http://www.facebook.com/group.php?gid=113057532062140#!/pages/Lets-start-a-Tea-Party-movement-in-Ireland/125977547431516
