FAQ

What are the benefits of owning a Tom Dunne Loyalty Card?
There are many benefits. By using your loyalty card on a regular basis you will get points – and points means prizes!

Great! Prizes like iPods and holidays and plasma screen TVs?
Er… not really. Maybe some pens, or some books or CDs. And random bits of office stationary, such as a box of staples.

Right. That just sounds like a list of stuff you’d find lying around an office.
Yeah, but of course it’s not about the winning it’s about the taking part. And by signing up for a loyalty card you’ll be taking part in one of the best experiences life has to offer.

That’s surely a bit of an exaggeration.
Not when you consider that loyalty card holders will have a 2 point advantage in the daily Numbers Game.

Wow. That’s amazing.
Also, loyalty card holders can score points by correctly answering the daily sports question. Furthermore, points can be scored by attempting to gain entry to a nightclub by using the card. Or by using the card in a weird or amusing way. And if they go on air with Tom, and use any of Tom’s oft-repeated phrases, they get bonus points. Oh, and if they photograph the card in an unusual place, e.g. atop the Empire State Building, they’ll get bonus points. ‘Email of the week’ and ‘text of the day’ people will get points too.

Sounds like you’re making all this up as you go along.
As a matter of fact, that’s exactly how the points scheme for the loyalty card will be administered: entirely at the whim of the Loyalty Card Points Awards Central Council.

Is there really a Loyalty Card Points Awards Central Council?
No.

What if I introduce a friend to the show and sign them up for a loyalty card?
You will receive a handwritten letter from Tom Dunne thanking you for your loyal service.

It's worth noting that "jaywalking" is statistically safer than crossing the road at a pedestrian crossing in the US - not just on total numbers killed, but on a per-crossing basis.
