Cork Airport evacuated due to burnt toast

The evacuation did not cause flight delays

It has been confirmed that the terminal at Cork Airport had to be evacuated earlier because of a burnt piece of toast.

The smoldering snack in a break room triggered two fire alarms. It forced all staff and passengers out of the building.

However the evacuation only lasted for 7 minutes and did not lead to any flight delays.
