Gardai are investigating an incident at the weekend in which a girl was photographed performing a sex act on a boy.

The picture which it is understood was taken at the Eminem concert on Saturday at Slane in Co. Meath has caused uproar online.

A hashtag in relation to the photos went viral on Twitter in Ireland, parts of England and parts of the USA yesterday and today.

A Facebook page in relation to the photos reached over 9,000 likes earlier before being taken down.

Gardai said they have spoken to the girl involved and they are looking into the matter but will not release any more details for privacy reasons.

The pair who appear are both clearly identifiable in the shot, raising concerns for their privacy.
