Newstalk Nation

Are you tired of being told what you think without anyone bothering to ask?

We want to recruit loyal listeners to form the Newstalk Nation. We'll email you to ask you your views on what matters to you. It might be about elections, schools, sport, economy or what brings a smile to your face. It's your voice, your station, your nation. It's your chance to be heard.

Newstalk 106-108 fm is looking for new Talent… and that new Talent could be You…

We’re looking for On-Air Talent, Producers, Researchers, Comedians – you name it, we want it…

We’re looking to find the newest and brightest talent – it doesn’t matter if you’ve no qualifications, or if you don’t have much experience…

We’re not going to put you on Drivetime tomorrow, we’re looking for people with the potential to be the next generation of great radio talent…

So, if you think you have what it takes, email us your CV and details to talent@newstalk.ie

Ideally, we also need to hear what you sound like, or we need to be impressed by what you can do… So, either attach some audio, or maybe even send us a video clip of you in action…

If your skills are more in Production, send us a sample…

Or, if writing great scripts is your thing… write us something…

We’re going to gather together all of the applications we receive and we’re expecting to receive quite a few… What we’ll do then is filter through all of them, listen to them, view them, consider them – then we’ll pick out the best and brightest and we’ll be in contact….

So, if you don’t hear from us, you probably didn’t make it this time… but we’re going to do this again on a regular basis…

If you do hear from us, you could be on the way to a glittering career filled with awards and acclaim, or at the very least, the chance to see how Newstalk works…
