Ireland's very own UFC superstar is likely to head the bill when the promotion comes to Dublin in July and tonight The Notorious MMA himself joined us at the Mercantile for a live show.

And it looks like he will be back in fighting form very soon after tearing an anterior cruciate ligament in his last fight.

"If you've ever had a torn ACL or a knee pop, it's not a nice feeling. It's a big loud pop and it's excruciating pain. It feels great now. I was over in LA and I passed the agility test which is a stage you must pass in order to be cleared. So now I head back in mid-April so they'll clear me to do everything like full on spar," said McGregor who admitted that he has become obsessed with gymnastics and er, Cirque de Soleil.

"They're talking about that lanky tw*t Cole Miller who was saying sh*t on Twitter," said McGregor about a potential Dublin title fight in July. And beyond that, he is confident that he will be the world champ by the end of the year.

Conor also chatted about his road into mixed martial arts and the UFC, the motivation for his recent documentary, why Kieran McGeeney is the toughest man in Irish sport and the art of trash talking in the UFC.
