Loyalist activist Willie Frazer has said there are plans for another Love Ulster parade in Dublin in the new year.

A similar march organised by him through Dublin back in 2006 saw violence when demonstrators clashed with gardaí on O'Connell Street.

Another parade was proposed for Dublin back in January 2013 - but this was postponed indefinitely.

A group of protestors, led by Mr Frazer, had planned to take a rally from Belfast to Dublin.

In a statement today, Mr Frazer has said: "The Irish government have had every opportunity to help and talk with us but on the world stage and even locally refused to even acknowledge that the Ulster people exist."

"Well the Ulster people do exist and so the Love Ulster campaign will be going back to Dublin in late January early February 2015 - and we will make sure the word knows all about the IRA and the Irish government," he added.

In a message on YouTube, he also referenced the case of the hooded men - and criticised the Irish government decision to ask the European Court of Human Rights to revise its judgement.

Mr Frazer says the march is about justice.
