Have you logged on to Tinder recently? Did you come across Kim’s profile above?
Nothing unusual there except when you look through her pictures you are met with something quite different, along with a very sobering message:

These images are part of a very clever campaign launched by the Immigrant Council of Ireland that uses Tinder to highlight the realities of sex trafficking to users.
Developed by digital advertising agency eightytwenty, a large number of Tinder profiles have been created that tell example stories of victims. The profiles appear genuine at first, but as users swipe through each picture, they see the impact of sex trafficking and messages relating to the issue.
"It is important that men of all ages who buy sex are made aware of the consequences of their actions. We are delighted to partner with the team at eightytwenty to bring this important message to an audience which is difficult to reach through traditional media,” Denise Charlton of the Immigrant Council said of the campaign.
It's the first time a campaign of this nature has been used on Tinder in Ireland and one of the first globally.
