Gardaí are investigating a shooting in Dublin last night which left a man and a woman injured.

The victims are believed to be aged in their 20s.

They suffered non life-threatening injuries in the incident at Grangeview Lawn in Clondalkin at around 9:30pm last night.

It is understood the woman, who is pregnant, was shot in the arm - while the man was hit in the stomach.

They are being treated in hospital, while the scene of the shooting remains sealed off for a garda examination.

Gardaí are appealing for witnesses.
